Episodes 13-17

Episode 13, January 2022

"This episode is a conversation with a consultant colleague Dr Pino Pini, which I turned into the latest episode of my vlog. Pino reminds us that a good way to bring about change is to form coalitions with local service user and carer groups. This helps engage in a bottom up process of change via collaborative forums. His engagement in this work, both in Italy and the UK, is very informative so I hope you enjoy this episode."

Episode 14, February 2022

"In this episode I am talking about the Community Mental Health Transformation and the genuine opportunity it presents for some real change towards more relational and integrated services."

Episode 15, March 2022

"I have been invited to a number of teaching sessions around the country lately and, when there, I tend to give a half hour talk giving an overview of Relational Psychiatry and Integrative ways of working. It brings together a number of the topics and ideas we have discussed on this vlog, as well as some new thoughts. This month's vlog is a version of that presentation."

Episode 16, April 2022

"For this month's edition of the vlog I have invited Gareth Jarvis, Medical Director of Central North West London NHS Trust - the largest mental health Trust in London - to hear about the inspiring work he is doing to spread Open Dialogue across his organisation. His is one of the most ambitious change programmes in the country and so I thought it would be good to hear from him, his journey and the plans he has going forward."

Episode 17 June 2022

"As a few of us look to implement Open Dialogue in our services on a large scale, we are thinking about some key principles that can be applicable in all clinical contacts - regardless of length or whether or not there are family, network or other clinicians present. This brief video runs through them as a basic guide, which I thought you might find interesting."
